Welcome to the new website of Abed Abdi! learn about all the new functions in this site.....
The first website of Abed Abdi was published over the internet back in 1994. Ever since the website changed 2 times. However, this new website is a radically different one: It uses all the web2 technologies, and runs on a modern content administration system.
Not only is the website new, since a lot of effort was made in archiving and publishing works of art never seen before, or rarely seen by the public. Cataloging all works of Abed Abdi involved documenting each one of the works found so far, and also entailed photographing professionally each and every one of these works of art.
Thanks to photographer and friend Orna Ben Shitrit, the task of photographing more than 700 works of art went quite fast and smoothly.
The results can be viewed on this new website in three main sections: Illustrations, Paintings and Monuments.
A few notes about using this new website:

Also new in this website is the manner in which works of art have been categorized: according to themes or subjects in Illustrations and Paintings, and according to location of work in Monuments.
Last but not least, titles and exact information in Arabic and English is attached to each work of art, so that to enable better enjoyment and understanding of what the artist had in mind during creation of the works. In order not to get lost in the galleres on this website, we have included detailed information about each category and sub category, so always follow the 
sign for better orientation.
Each work of art has a unique identification number, so in case you need to refer to that work of art in your communications with us, then please always use that identifier.
Once you register at this site (which, again, is free of charge and only takes a couple of seconds) then you will be able to post your comments on any of the articles posted on this site, and on any of the images or works of art on this site You will also be able to rate the works of art by Abed Abdi.
