Abed Abdi: 50 years of creativity

The life of the creative artist is measured by the years of his gift rather than the years of his life. The creative artist Abdi Abdi was born and lived in Haifa, and his roots are rooted in this ancient city and from there he acquired his various arts. Despite his studies in Germany and his specialization in the subject of murals, he has developed a special and distinctive character. Thus, the original artist does not imitate others, but he follows a path and style that may resemble others or fall into the same creative school. The world artists whose names were dimmed in the world of creativity were able to make them artistic schools, joined by artists who walked along their path. In our country, no distinctive art school has yet been established in any area, making the local artist try to make his way to engage with this or that art group. In the area of singing, the local artist tends to Lebanese, Egyptian or Syrian, and in the field of folk or expressive dance, he does not have a specific balance or criterion for the nature of the dance paintings he designs, either in musicals or in expressive scenes.

But some of our artists were able to name their names in the record of eminent artists, and even reached the world rank, film or theater, or singing, and even in art. I will not show the names in my mind which reached this rank, because they have ties of friendship, appreciation and respect. If we look at the artists who are predictive of the different artistic fields, we find that they have begun their artistic path using their originality and commitment to their artistic and creative style. They have created a difficult path and a hard path to the darkening of their names in the world of art and creativity.

This is where my attention comes to the attention of the artist Abdel Abedi, who has committed himself to public and popular issues in his artworks, and has been presenting works that have become known as militant acts and as subjects of a public interest. Such as memorials in Arab villages and cities, memorials and paintings depicting this old man looking at an unknown future, and the old woman who bemoans and screams silently, to the window of the demolished house, to the homeless looking for shoes, pants or sweater, Forget his abstract works, in which he put his intellectual and emotional lines, as if I were screaming in the face of injustice, oppression and oppression. In a clear tendency to the leftist movement that grew up, he welcomed all progressive people with ideas and principles such as his ideas and principles. When we look at any painting we know immediately whether it is Abdi Abdi or not, because his style and method of color and schematic exposed clearly stand out for the viewer and the beholder.

Not only did Abed Abdi work on his own creative work, but he spread his art in villages and cities through educational courses and artistic lessons taught to his students at his own studio or at the Arab College of Education in Haifa. I have often been involved in this or that artistic field, because it supports the integration of different works of art. It is natural that they overlap in artistic systems and their service to the creative process, whether in theatrical, musical or even musical and dancer and poetic situations. They all engage in the crucible of creativity, and pour the spirit of the artist on paper, board or roller. Abd Abdi then sought to organize art exhibitions for him or other creative people, especially exhibitions that bear the committed titles, and revolve around a common theme around which artists. His work has been involved in various artistic events such as plays, poetry seminars or other creative evenings.

The artist Abdel Abedi took care of the affairs of the Arab artists, not only to elevate his art as a single in his field, but also to take a long-term vision. He helped establish the Association of Arab Plastic Artists (Ibdaa) and was keen to vaccinate artists from outside the world of plastic arts. Some creative works do not differ in their dealings with the essence of man, but may differ in the way presented to this subject or issue. The creative artist Abed Abdi has always taken the local artists’ hands, supported them and cared for their affairs. He did not aspire to a single launch in the world of art, but he was able to have many group exhibitions in various artistic centers and events. He is confident of his path and style. All other artists with him.

Abed Abdi’s activity extended from Haifa to other cities and villages from the far north to the far south. His constituency expanded beyond the borders of 48 to 67. His exhibitions organized in Germany, Hungary, Italy, France and many others, both individual and collective, He is a sure sign that he has transcended universality, distinguished artists and infinity, but has become firmly entrenched in the heart of creative art. He has stigmatized international art as a Palestinian artist with a specific identity, a distinctive character and a unique style. It has become impossible to talk about local art, or the various artistic creations without the name Abdul Abedi with applicants at all levels. He is an artist so that every activity becomes an important artistic event.

A number of bodies and personalities, such as the Al-Sabar Association in Umm al-Fahm, have collaborated on a book that is the first of its kind in our literature and local art. It was written in three languages: Arabic, Hebrew and English. It was a comprehensive study of the artist Abdel Abedi personally in his biography, and then to his diverse art of visualizations which confirmed that the artist is world class. And even today. The great poet Samih al-Qasim addressed many of the artistic events that he had collected with the artist, as well as the joint experiences
Through their work in the media and the most important newspaper Al-Ittihad and Al-Ghad and Al-Jadeed magazines. Tal Ben Zvi was able to shed light

On the artistic aspects, intellectual evaluation, cultural dimensions, literary and artistic conditions in which the artist was born, and the intellectual currents that prevailed in the times and times of the past, and enables the artist to overcome the obstacles and overcome the difficulties that would have removed him from his art and his people. In this, the artist Said Abu Shakra wrote an essay about the artist Abdel-Dour, who played with his artistic and creative patronage. Gershon Knysbell, who spoke about his friend and companion Abed Abdi, and their joint works and rich artistic experiences.

This author comes to enrich the Arabic library with works that are missing from the creators and artists, and we have noticed the Western Library is full of works about the artists and the world and prestigious, so why overshadow our artist coverage and opacity and cover? It is worthy of being the focus of researchers, critics, writers and innovators in their studies, writings and researches on local art, and on distinguished and international artists, including the creative artist Abed Abdi,
